Mervyn's page

I am a Quality Manager with a background in electronics and software. I also double up as   the Health and Safety Officer. I am currently employed by BEKA Associates Ltd. (www.beka.co.uk).

I play with computers and have an special interest in digital photography and imaging. I also have an interest in weather data. I have been collecting weather data in Slip End for a number of years and you can view this data on my Weather pages.

I am a Cub leader with the 3rd Dunstable Cubs Scouts and enjoy the camping and outdoor scouting activities.

For relaxation I do tapestry and have done some quite nice pictures which can be seen in my gallery page. In what remaining time I have, I am building an N gauge railway. This will be controlled by Direct Command Control (DCC) which allows you to have one controller and control each engine by its address. It will also allow me to link the track control to my PC in the future. However this project has taken a back seat in recent months which is why I have not yet put it on the web.
